Sustain SC partnered with the SC Department of Agriculture to host the first Regional Roundtable sustainability discussion.

Sustain SC served as a convener on June 24 as it partnered with the SC Department of Agriculture to host the first Regional Roundtable at the SC Farmers Market in Lexington County. A panel of local leaders including Todd Collum, Lexington County Council, Tana Lee, Richland One School District, Gary Spires, SC Farm Bureau, Stuart White, Congaree Land Trust, and Robby Wilkins, Southern Visions Real Estate held a discussion surrounding smart, sustainable growth for the local area and state. Smart growth is about striking the balance between commerce and conservation.
