Reflections on the 2024 Symposium
This year, Sustain SC hosted our 3rd Annual Sustainability Symposium at Central Energy in Columbia. It was an honor to bring together sustainability leaders, government officials, conservationists, business executives, and even athletes, across South Carolina to discuss the future of sustainability in the state.
The day was full of exciting content and information, including:
Workforce Keynote – National Champions for Sustainability: exploring how sustainability plays a roll in the education of our future leaders.
Circularity Fireside Chat: understanding the intersection of a circular economy, recycling and litter.
Conservation in South Carolina: focusing on the role of state agencies in conservation.
The State of Energy in South Carolina: announcing RMI’s new energy report and diving into how businesses, utilities and legislature balance the need for reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.
Innovation in Sustainability: looking at how companies use life cycle assessments and innovation in their supply chains to become more sustainable.
